The Prescott Climbers Coalition was able to get in touch with the infamous Access Fund Conservation Team to complete some much-needed work near High Rappel Dell. Over 15 psyched volunteers showed up on the morning of Saturday, January 30th and threw down a new trail to connect the Co-Op Crack area to the newly-developed Sean’s Wall on the South side of the crag.
Mike & Amanda of the Access Fund helped all of the volunteers get through the day with excellent patience and instruction. We are so grateful for their support and the continued support of the Access Fund! Altogether, there was 180 ft. of Social Trail mitigated and corrected to create a single 60 ft. section of trail with proper erosion control and a 4 ft. tall retaining wall built. Truly great work was done, go check it and climb some beautiful routes!
